I'm feeling defeated. yet again. I keep letting the perfectionist out and thinking this was gonna take off a lot better than it has. I wasn't expecting much but I thought I would be doing better by this point. Just shy of a year and barely shy of 20 posts It looks like I haven't done much but I have lol. Anyone else who has begun this blogging journey knows the trials and errors of their first year. I keep doing my research and scouring Pinterest for ideas and to see what worked for others. I spent this last year staring at my screen, for the most part, trying to figure it all out on my own. Every time I finally asked
Along with the many Birthday cakes, I have made my share of cupcakes to add to the birthday fun.
The engagements, showers & vows; friends & others have allowed me to be part of the cake creation for their special days.
Did you know I decorate cakes? Maybe you do and you've seen the countless little works of art from my kitchen. Maybe you're just getting to know me? Well, It is true I have an infinite love for decorating cakes. Just something that sorta comes easily for me. Let me give you a little backstory... So after son #2 was born I took some Wilton classes to pass some time and hone in on some skills. I've pretty much been a cake decorating fool since. Starting with my own little home based & by word of mouth cake business back in our hometown in Southern Ca. After a snowboarding accident shattered my wrist I had to call it quits
Movember, Movember, Remember Men's Health in November. Tricky Dickie's Tonics has been raising funds ever so slightly through the month of November so far. That means someone is listening and this is why we get involved. To spread the awareness. I made the $200 fundraising goal in honor of Tricky Dickies second year with www.movember.com So far we are at $55 raised by Tricky Dickies Beard Crew Members. I really hope that we can make a better mark by the end of the month. Tricky Dickie's Tonics is offering a free early Xmas present to the first 3 people to donate $25.00 or more to our fundraising team at the Movember site. I personally donated as Mrs. Tricky Dickie on behalf
Say what?! Yes, you read that correctly. I cannot believe that I in my lifetime can have Groceries delivered to my home with my Smith's App/Card. I hate the grocery store. So this just became my dream come true & I know it is every mother's dream come true also! I'm the stay at home mom and the last thing I want to do is the shopping. I know I'm so strange right?! So someone else gets to shop and fight the crowds for me while I catch up on some chores, start a Netflix series, or have an agenda filled day. Some days there is just no more my brain can handle by going to the store. Let someone else
What's Movember? Movember is when we ask you guys out there who don't usually sport facial hair to grow out the stache this month in support of men's health. When you Visit the Movember site at www.movember.com, they ask you to sport the "Mo". Meaning mustache for the month of November. The "Movember" movement is to raise awareness and bring attention to the sometimes uncomfortable topics of men's health. Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Men's Mental health, along with suicide prevention. We're asking you to sport your "Mo" this month in a new way than you usually do. We’re not asking you to cut your beards, we just want you to participate! Whether it's growing it out for the first time, or letting it
September flew by & now October ends. I felt a little like I spun my wheels through the month, but that isn't true at all. I was doing so much more than I've done in while. I'm focusing in on my business more, traveling outside my bubble a bit & finally taking in some scenery that has been right in front of me all along. I'm like totally focusing my chi dude! The weather here in Havasu is beginning to absolutely be amazing, now that you can walk outside and not melt alive. Which means the town livens up and the locals come out to enjoy the city before the snow birds travel in for the winter. The last two
